Standard YA dystopia with flimsy worldbuilding, flat characters and a predictable plot. Enjoyable enough but totally forgettable. At least this one was shorter than most of its contemporaries, but only because the characters made so many leaps of logic, constantly jumping to conclusions based on the tiniest hints. The author didn't have to spend pages explaining everything, but it was also completely unbelievable.
Also, there is absolutely no reason to set half of the book's text in a bold, gold-coloured sans serif typeface! Talk about a horrible design choice.
