Bridges (Don't Read in the Closet) - M.J. O'Shea This is a tooth-achingly sweet short story about two guys who go from enemies to friends to lovers. Dallas Thomason has always been stuck together in school with Brooklyn Thorne due to them having last names that begin with the letter T. From their first meeting in grade three all the way to high school, the two have been paired together for various things but maintained an antagonistic relationship. A new job at a local store during the summer after graduation forces them to work together yet again, but this time things slowly start to change. The plot is really straightforward and a lot of ground is covered in such a short story but none of it went into much detail. The length of the story is far too short for much plot/character development and I think the author relied a lot on cliches and stereotypes. All in all, a sweet but ultimately forgettable romance.
